The Junior Associate will play a key role in delivering high-quality research, managing client communications, and supporting day-to-day execution across multiple fast-paced projects. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to deepen their experience in government affairs and client advisory work in Washington, DC.

Essential Duties and Key Responsibilities:

- Monitor and analyze developments on Capitol Hill, including committee activity and key stakeholder movements
- Support client engagements by preparing briefings, memos, and strategic summaries
- Serve as a day-to-day point of contact for clients, ensuring responsiveness and high-quality communication
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive updates and follow-through
- Assist with meeting preparation and stakeholder engagement, including drafting talking points and background materials
- Track project deliverables and manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
- Identify opportunities to add value and contribute to client strategy development
- Support broader firm initiatives and other duties as needed

Minimum Qualifications:
- 2–4 years of relevant experience, ideally including time on Capitol Hill (e.g., legislative staff, committee experience—particularly energy-related—or similar government/policy roles)
- Strong understanding of legislative and regulatory processes, especially in a Washington, DC context
- Excellent research, analytical, and writing skills, with the ability to synthesize complex policy topics clearly
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to engage professionally with clients and stakeholders
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
- A proactive, self-starter mindset with a willingness to take ownership and operate with limited direction
- Demonstrated interest in public policy, government affairs, or strategic advisory work
- Spanish language proficiency is considered an asset but not required
- Bachelor’s degree required; relevant internships or graduate-level experience a plus
